The Bodywork Blog Episode 0x231: Practice

Hi there!

There’s an old joke; How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

Well, first it’s helpful to know what Carnegie Hall is and why you want to get there.

And before that you need to be able to read a map.

And before that you need to know how to read.

And, often, you need to know how to speak.

Usually walking is helpful as well.

Needless to say, there’s no way a baby would be able to get itself to Carnegie Hall, even if it knew where and for what reason it would want to.

But a baby can become a child that, with years of practice, can speak and read!

And a child can grow and learn about maps and other places.

And after learning all these things, if Carnegie Hall has what they want to experience then they will take a map and head that way to get there.

So, if changing your attitude, health or other major life change is on the horizon then help yourself and make a list of all the things you need to know in order to get there.

Smile! It will take however long it takes; none of us were born this morning and got there before the day was out.

And if massage therapy delivered to you is on that list, let me know how I can help you get started!

Remember, I’m pulling for you. We are all in this together!
